Zazzle Cards for Mothers Day by Wendy Bandurski-Miller
A friend of mine in discussing the up and coming mothers day commented that he recieved mothers day cards on mothers day as he takes on BOTH roles in his childrens life......and i thought that i bet theres a lot of people out there that we need to CELEBRATE this mothers day with WHOEVER they are......in the mothering role. As a single mother i know i always got the Fathers day cards........and as a teacher i also MADE the cards with the kids in the class suited to their home life..... so there were kids who had no mum at home/mother figure and we made the cards "to Dad Happy Mothers day" .... but it was steves mentioning of it that prompted me into action to choose an image...... so I salute you Steve Hester for this great idea...... i know as a single parent for many years how challenging and lonely a role it can be.... it takes a certain strength of character to go it alone.... i believe we all need to both support and celebrate mothers.....and fathers as mothers too. Redreaming Motherhood......
